description: Extremely rare early 1900's Hardy Palakona & Palakona Jack White Drivers(regd.) Bamboo Shafted Golf Clubs. Jack White was a Scot and won the British "open championship" in 1904. These are price as 1,500 for each club. The "Palakona" Built Bamboo Shafts give the sympathetic feeling which hitherto has only been found in Super Selected Hickory,but with the added advantage of 100 per count. constancy on their quality. They will not wary or bend. They resist all stresses in any transverse direction and will stand up to any amount of hard wear The shafts are superior to anything offered to the golfer in driving force, length control and direction. (This was taken from an early Hardy's Anglers Guide)Both clubs are in excellent condition for their age and are again never seen on the open market. Will make some collector/golfer very happy!!!
