description: Rarely seen 3-1/8 Rings Up Perfect MKII at Circa 1922. Originally owned by Hoagy B. Carmichael. This is one of the rarest perfects made with the line guide placed behind the pillar so the reel could be used on top of the rod or can be used in its regular placement as a LHW reel but has no set screw. The reel is in "VG" Condition with most of the side plate finish gone and owners intials stamped but not easy to see. The reel kind of look like a Spitfire Perfect, perfect agate "NO CRACKS", ribbed brass foot not filed. Everything is in working order. Very collectable reel!
