We at KINEYA has investigated the optimal click ratchet & gear system for which a fly reel is asked based on the experience of reel manufacture over the past about ten years, and has adopted it on our product. Of course in present, the study is not neglected, the best feeling of use and high durability do not reach for saying, but are continuing pursuing even functional beauty and structure beauty.

Although the system of three kinds of sizes is adopted as our present products with the size of a reel, the structure is fundamentally the same. The ratchet and the gear are cut out from two kinds of SUSs(stainless steel material) which a mechanical property differs, and peerless wear-proof and high durability are realized by allotting them mutually to the optimal part.

We at KINEYA consider that a "gear" which is used for power transfer of the usual machine structure in a click and gear of a fly reel naturally is not suitable. As a result of examining thoroughly the element for which a fly reel is asked and repeating study, we proprietary-did a rachet and a gear with a special curved surface.
