description: Stunning Leonard Catskill 39-5 of the Foster era with serial number 83335 made right after Maxwell left Leonard in the same style as you can see. Plastic still on the grip, Medium colored cane with tan wraps tipped in red and very fine tips. Smaller style grip, Nickel silver sliding band and logo butt cap over butternut wood spacer. Bright nickel silver ferrules with black guides. One page of the same year Leonard catalog is clear taped on the rod tube to show the specs. of the rod and also comes with the warranty which of course is no longer good but still adds to the rod. Just a fabulous rare light dry fly rod. The rod really belongs in the Catskills Museum!
