The rod has stunning nickel silver engraved sliding band over birds eye maple wood spacer, Full intermediate black wraps with guides wrapped in reddish brown tipped black and then 2 Carmel colored wraps opposite each guide, Ruby red agate stripper guide with blued ferrules, snakes guides and tip tops. Why wait 5 years to get the fine rod when you can purchase the rod now at a great price. The rod has been used on a few trips and is in "NM" condition with a little soiling to the grip and I found very small glue line which can't be seen in the photo's but must be stated.
