description: Stunning one of a kind rod built by Walt Carpenter and finished out by his good friend John Gallas. Feels much like a Payne 96 taper with much of the same styling, Payne style cork grip, Spanish cedar wood insert, light color cane, transparent light olive guide wraps with the same at the ferrule wrap with an added touch of black and light gold tipping with the same at the winding check then just above Walts signature (Very Nice), Oxidized black single nickel silver sliding band and butt cap. Anodized carbaloy stripper guide with tungsten wire snake guides. Signed by W.E. Carpenter on the top flat then John Gallas finisher on the side flat. If you've never cast one of Walts rods your in for a treat! This is the perfect small stream rod in a medium fast action. This rod can fish in close or cast 45ft when needed. Bran new never fished only test cast by me!
