description: Wonderful rod from the last days of the Winston Bamboo Shop. Not many 7'3" 4wt Pentas out there. The production date being the serial number 012306 this was near the end. The extra tip with built by Glenn at a later date as most pentas came as 1 tip rods. Everything is pretty much standard Winston with the exception of the two tone wood winding check. (Nice Touch). I have test cast this rod and it seem to cast very well with a dt4 Rio Selective Trout like most of the other Winston it seem to like the Rio. The rod has been fished very little and is in E condition with a bit of soiling to the cork. Also one tip top was mad a bit larger than the other not by much as you can see in the photo. This would be a great all around med. fast dry fly rod.
