Also a special piece of wood was use for the reel seat with a nice black grain the flows through the wood insert. Very Nice Touch! Just a wonderful rod to cast in a med/fast smooth dry fly action! You'll think it's a 2pc rod. Great the carry on and if you are the kind of guy that like to hit the trail to the back country this is the rod. The finish glass rod made today! The rods are yellow in color, fitted with hand crafted ferrules, fine hardwood spacers, nickel silver hardware and clear silk wraps.
