Amazing bamboo reel seat with dual black sliding band reel seat topped off with a wonderful black walnut end cap and matching wood ferrule plug. Mini-wells grip with Ebony rounded top. Just a wonderful feel for any size hands. Very nice! This rod has a wonderful med. fast semi-parabolic dry fly action. Flawless 3 month varnish process is like glass. This rod fishes as good as she looks. Another master piece from Ishida-san. The Bamboo community is just now finding out how wonderful the Kagerow rod really are. One cast and you will find out they far exceed your expectations! I was very lucky to received this rod because my wait for a custom rod now exceeds 2 years.
