description: Stunning beautiful amazing! Glenn and the Boy are back and now on track after leaving the R.L. Winston Rod Co. nearly 2 years ago. The tradition lives on!!! This rod is Serial 1030. Medium brown toned cane, translucent brown wraps with maroon tipping at the hook keeper, signature wraps at the ferrules. Cigar grip with "Pride of Sweetgrass" down locking nickel silver reel seat. Custom made wood spacer and red agate stripper guide all makes for a wonderful rod! This rod is 100% new condition and I just got her in. Plastic of the grip. Just wonderful Western dry fly rod for most situations which I found to be a bit faster than the standard Winston rod in the same configuration. Glenn and the Boys did a wonderful job on this rod but you can only expect the best coming from those who love the art of building cane rods. This rod will not last long. So if you think about it, it will be gone!
