description: Another beautiful rod from the old days at the shop when Glenn was still heading up the R.L. Winston Rod Co. bamboo rod shop. This Winston Trout Rod is Serial number 3395 production in the 2000's. Medium brown toned cane, translucent brown wraps with maroon tipping at the hook keeper, signature wraps at the ferrules. Cigar grip with "Pride of Winston" down locking nickel silver reel seat. Custom made teak wood spacer and red agate stripper guide all makes for a stunning rod! This rod is 100% new condition. Plastic still on the grip of this rod. As most of you already know you can no longer get these Brackett made Winston's anymore sad to says! Just wonderful Western dry fly rod for most situations and could be a wonderful spring creek rod in the configuration! Over the next few days I'll be selling a whole collection of these rods in 4's and 5's, also many new Winston limited reel sets.
