Light colored cane with dramatically swell butt, very fine tips, olive wraps tipped in red then a dark green thread at the ferrule again tipped in red, flawless varnish as only Marc can do! Tapered cigar grip with light maple reel seat. Black nickel silver ferrules, Black nickel silver sliding band and butt cap reel seat with ferrule plugs. I can think of many Rivers were this rod would be wonderful to fish. Nice med/fast dry fly action that will throw nice tight loops. Just a pleasure to fish! Everyone that fly fishes cane should experience casting an Aroner Rod to fully appreciate one of the finest rod made today. Also very nice travel rod being a 3pc rod!
