Feels much like a Payne 101 taper with much of the same styling, Payne style cork grip, Dark wood insert, dark color flamed cane, Payne style guide wraps with the same at the ferrule(Very Nice)!!! Up locking aluminum reel seat with Walt's logo stamp with carbaloy stripper guide. If you've never cast one of Walts rods your in for a treat! This is the perfect rod for medium to large rivers in a medium fast action dry fly rod. This rod can fish in close or cast 65ft when needed. Brand new never fished only test cast by me!
