Kagerow Rods By Master Rod Builder Ishida Hideto Of Japan
"I may not be able to make a Bamboo Rod that would suit every fisherman perfectly. Yet I do believe, If I make a Rod that one fisherman finds great, I shall continue my work. I am making these Bamboo Rods for people who love rivers, fish and spend their time amongst beautiful Mother Nature! Ishido Hideto Kagerow Rods"
It is with great joy and honor to bring the first line of Kagerow rods to the Untied States. For over 22 years Master Rod Builder Ishido Hideto has had a passion for building the finest Bamboo Rods for fly fishermen to cherish. Now it's time to bring his works of art to the USA and share these wonderful rods with others. Not only are these rods beautiful to look at, but they are incredible fishing tools. The meaning of Kagerow is Mayfly in Japanese. These wonderful rods have a very nice medium fast semi-parabolic action. The Rod options at Kagerow will fit the needs of most fly fisherman. While many of the rod builders of Japan still construct their Rods exclusively using "Madake" or Japanese traditional Bamboo, Ishido-san has chosen to use the best Chinese Tonkin Cane. Although he has decided to stay true to the Japanese tradition, he still offers one model in his line made with "Madake" appropriately called "The Japan Model". Every rod is without a doubt some of the finest work you will ever see in any rod made today! Yes, they do cast as good as they look!
