description: Rare Fine! Beautiful little 1917 Divine fairy 76 3/4wt 3/2 serial number H7426 as stamped on the butt cap in VG condition all original full length with one tip having a very very slight set. The label on the rod itself is about 90% The Divine Rod Utica N.Y. All work was complete by Glenn Brackett is 2006. Glenn rewrap of the original agate stripping guide, reset of the ferrules and a put a light overcoat of varnish on the rod. All work done by Glenn Brackett. The rod seems very delicate with its fine tips at 2-1/2ozs but will cast 3 or 4 weight silk line with authority. The Divine Fairy is the most desirable of all the Divine rods making this a great rod for collectors. Beautiful red wrap with intermediate wrap, all cork grip which has been cleaned, very nice raised bridge red agate stripping guide, one tip top has the red agate guide with the other being a non-agate tip top a possible replacement, nickel silver sliding band and butt cap with ring & strap hook keeper. The rod was made to compete with some of the finest rod builder of this era.
